This series of Tutor books published by London Music Press offers an exciting advance in the teaching of Electronic Keyboard Playing. The books integrate musical awareness, creativity and technical development. In partnership with the Victoria College examinations, this series of tutor books are specifically designed to closely integrate with the examination syllabus on the electronic keyboard, and are therefore ideally suited for pupils preparing for examinations with this college.

This book is designed in a lesson plan format. It is specifically designed for teachers and pupils to work together on an attractive selection of new tunes and arrangements that help improve playing competence and confidence. Written theory exercises are also included which are designed specifically to cover the theory element of the examination.

• From Grade 1 Musicianship Tests are also included.

• From Grade 4 composition advice is also included.

At the back of each book is an examination sheet that gives examples of all the requirements for the VCM examination.

The book includes a demonstration CD with Claire Pashley playing scales, compositions and arrangements from the book.

Activities are specifically designed to make learning fun with motivational tick charts included at the end of each lesson so that pupils can see at an instance how near they are to reaching their examination goal.

A page is also included for teachers and pupils to write in their own comments and this is useful for writing out practice strategies and routines each week.
